FOAM, the new MCQ collection, takes the\u00a0workwear style to a new scenario\u00a0that focuses on construction.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

A new top-notch creative team has come together to make MCQ’s third icon<\/i> come true, baptized as FOAM. The participants are Flohio (@flohio<\/a>), Sang Woo Kim (@sangwo0<\/a>), Cosmo Webber (@cosmo_webber<\/a>), Duncan Loudon (@duncan_loudon<\/a>), Ewen Spencer (@ewenspencer<\/a>), and, as always, Pantone Colour Institute (@pantone<\/a>), Everledger (@everledger<\/a>), Terrain (@ex_terra<\/a>) and the MCQ team. All of their names appear on the large fabric labels that the FOAM garments present.<\/p>\n

\"MCQ\"<\/p>\n

The result is a series of garments where different textures and patterns contrast strongly. Pure contradiction. Utilitarianism reigns in a capsule loaded with multi-pockets, adjustable ropes and straps, among other details. The neon colors and silicona stand out as one of the most surprising materials. This way, the collection travels between the traditional workwear, the avant-garde and haute couture.<\/p>\n

\"MCQ<\/p>\n

The collection has been elaborated using industrial hardware. Textile fiber waste has also been used to make the garments, as well as the filling of some of them. The transparent PU outwear has been filled with recycled cashmere waste fibers. Denim, meanwhile, has industrial framis tape. This reuse exercise certainly highlights the sustainable possibilities of the fashion industry.<\/p>\n

\"Foam-MCQ\"<\/p>\n

In this new icon we find the most striking pieces, such as the puffer in backpack format or the transparent parka. The pieces and accessories in black add sophistication and elegance, betting on the immortality of total-black.<\/p>\n
