This time, we are finally able to see them in a catalogue, available with just a click. Adidas x Craig Green new collaboration is an eclectic exercise of fusion, avant-garde and terrace heritage. The collection reinvents the trefoil archives, focusing on the Boston Super, the Samba and the Kamanda. All through innovative techniques and unconventional designs that remain always faithful to these chosen silhouettes’ distinctive elements. The common essence that gives coherence and continuity is a series of translucent layers or “ghost layers”, according to Craig Green himself, that all the sneakers boast.

Three archival treasures

The CG Polta AKH I were created by overlaying the silhouettes of the adidas Samba and the Boston Super. And when we say overlaying, we literally mean it: under one sneaker’s lines we can see the other one’s, creating a layered and naked effect. To complete the design, the whole sneaker enhances the squamous Kamanda sole. These Poltas arrive in three colorways: Brown/White, Light grey/White and Black/Grey/White.

On the other side, the CG Graddfa AKH bring Kamanda’s aesthetic to their highest level, suggesting an upper with the same unity as in the famous sole. Similarly, the sneaker also features a translucent layer that reminds of a slippery reptile. We can also find this silhouette in three different colorways: white, red and black.

Adidas x Craig Green campaign’s creativity deserves special mention. The artist Dan Tobin Smith, Green’s recurring collaborator, has been in charge of creating these sculptural forms that appear on the presentation picture.

Get your favorite sneakers from adidas x Craig Green’s second drop on Foot District.

After their first fruitful union, adidas Originals and the British designer Craig Green are launching a second drop that combines some of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes.
