Odell Beckham Jr\u2019s take on the Air Max 720 reigns as one of the best new additions to Nike<\/a>\u2019s big bubble line-up in 2019. We awarded the striking silhouette Sneaker of the Week honours on the silhouette\u2019s debut, back in June<\/a>, although that came with one caveat: the vivid rainbow-splashed colourway \u2018mightn\u2019t be to everybody\u2019s tastes\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nike Air Max 720 OBJ<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Fortunately, it seems that Nike were on the ball, because the model\u2019s latest outing sees it step out in far more natural \u2018Desert Ore\u2019 colourway that is so polar opposite to the original make-up that we figured the Air Max 720 OBJ was worth of our top honour once again.<\/p>\n

Where the original \u2018Young Kid of the Drip\u2019 Air Max 720 OBJ was the kind of sneaker to be worn when you want to stand out in a crowd, this new \u2018Desert Ore\u2019 release is the kind of sneaker that can easily be worn with any outfit, all year round.<\/p>\n

The upper is formed from layers of leather, mesh and suede in shades of sandy \u2018Desert Ore\u2019 and off-white \u2018Light Bone\u2019. The signature Air Max 720 sole unit complements the upper nicely in an icy beige pigment, adorned with radiant \u2018Summit White\u2019 Swooshes and icy outsole tooling.<\/p>\n

Although Nike\u2019s design team have kept the upper palatably muted in natural and neutral shades, making for one tasty Air Max that perfectly suits all \u2018neat-casual\u2019 needs, they understand that there\u2019s one other reason that people might be looking to add these to their collection: the blessing of Odell Beckham Jr. With this in mind, the OBJ branding on this colourway pops loud and clear in blood red, paired with an extra crimson hit on the tongue pull. As with last time though, these come equipped with interchangeable tongue tags, allowing you to alter your look however you desire.<\/p>\n
