This trend of looking to the past to re-experience the joy of design that was felt so strongly at a time which once was the present, but that faded over the years, proves that some things are worth repeating.<\/div>\n

With the idea of connecting the past with the present, the re-release of the sneaker comes along with a video and an editorial that takes us fully into the aesthetics of the 90s. Starring Carlota Urdiales<\/em> and Jes\u00fas Lafuente<\/em>, the film takes us into a series of memory-like scenes, all shot in 16mm, in which the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 5 Midnight works as the recurring theme.Reminding us of the novelty of the discman at one time and suggesting its likeness to today’s innovations with digital expansion, we are posed with the question: Why not celebrate the best of the past in the present?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
