The NMD Hu<\/strong><\/a> has been a core element of this partnership since it debuted. Back in 2015, we’d gotten morsels of previews of the first NMD Hu look. At that point, most of the work between Pharrell and adidas<\/a><\/strong> had been centered on older models. We’d even seen some interesting apparel.<\/p>\n But, the NMD Hu was a milestone. The shoe itself was already taking the sneaker world by storm. Putting Pharrell’s distinctive touches on it only multiplied this hype.<\/p>\n Here, we get the latest rendition of this future classic. The NMD Hu takes on some bold stylings as part of the “Inspiration Pack.” The colorways are indicative of Skateboard P’s aesthetic. Long before his days with adidas, Williams has been all about color. From his legendary jewelry to all of his clothing, color is central.<\/p>\n There are four colorways on this release. The first sees a Clear Sky base. Yellow accents appear via the lacing and outsole. We even get notes of Bolt Orange via the heel tab. Next up, a Powder Blue look. Here, the Primeknit upper’s somber tone is contrasted with Pink lateral accents on the caging. A White heel tab matches up with the Boost midsole. Finally, Gum bottoms round things off.<\/p>\n Those same Gum bottoms appear on the Core Black iteration in this pack. The bit of pop here is on the caging in a bright Teal. Lastly, a White base colorway wraps up this special pack. Black caging comes together with Green laces and a Green heel tab to make for contrasts.<\/p>\n Each shoe in this pack also comes with the usual Chinese script on the forefoot.
