Michael wasn’t just a Nike endorsement for the sake of getting his own signature line. Of course, that’s a big part of his legacy, but it went just a bit beyond that. He was thoroughly infatuated with the Swoosh’s many footwear designs.

Jordan wasn’t always going to be a Nike signee, he had other plans coming out of the University of North Carolina. Some even suggested he reportedly was ready to sign with Converse!

So, Nike had to work some magic. Now, it’s always going to be hard for a young pro hooper to resist the opportunity to be the face of a brand’s basketball products. Even though Nike wasn’t quite at the sort of prestige they are now, they were just as hard to say no to. For MJ, it came down to how amazed he was by the brand’s work.

Particularly off the court, Jordan would regularly be spotted in tennis or running Nike models. The “Chlorophyll” Air Jordan 3 shouts out the tennis model he wore the most in those early days, the Air Trainer 1.

The colorway on this iteration of the Air Jordan 3 is thus dedicated to this look. It’s also a bit of a shoutout to Tinker as he’s the man who designed both the Air Trainer 1 and the aforementioned Jordan model.

The Chlorophyll Green accents come via the inner linings, Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel, and lace eyelets. A textured leather upper sits underneath all of this in a Light Smoke Grey, bordered by the recognizable elephant printed midsole sections.

Due out this weekend, on November 10th, make sure you cop a pair before the hype catches up to everyone else!

Inspired by the Air Trainer 1: Air Jordan 3 “Chlorophyll” We take a look at the Air Jordan 3 “Chlorophyll” which sports some visuals that are dedicated to the stylings

[63
{"0":"post-6289","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"category-noticias
["GET
