S3.1 New Colorways"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Grey and Lilac adidas P.O.D. S3.1<\/h2>\n<p>We see one of the newest Three Stripes iterations in new colors, the <strong>adidas P.O.D. S3.1<\/strong> in Grey and Lilac. The brand has been kind enough to provide some heat in both Men&#8217;s and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/footdistrict.com\/en\/adidas\/f\/g\/women\/\">Women&#8217;s versions<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The shoe itself involves the use of adidas&#8217;s latest midsole innovation: the P.O.D. system. In this setup, we see <a href=\"https:\/\/footdistrict.com\/en\/sneakers\/f\/b\/adidas\/zf\/adidas-boost\/\"><strong>Boost<\/strong><\/a> on the heel in a thick cut. Rather than more of the brand&#8217;s elite cushion at the forefoot, we instead see a standard EVA layer. It&#8217;s an interesting design decision that isn&#8217;t entirely new.<\/p>\n<p>Though the actual P.O.D. system is fresh, the overall look reminds us of adidas&#8217;s Barricade silhouette. As with other pieces of their performance collection, the Barricade sees the Three Stripes brand similarly segment the midsole into a Boost heel section and an EVA forefoot. Functionally speaking, it&#8217;s far from being a bad design. Visually, it&#8217;s interesting at the very least.<\/p>\n<p>The two colorways featured here provide two distinct flavors. The first combines Grey with smaller notes of Orange via the &#8220;P.O.D. S3.1&#8221; branding. On the Lilac look, we get a similar aesthetic but with the accompanying accents in an &#8220;Orchid Tint&#8221; White.<\/p>\n<p>Each comes with a base material of performance mesh. The breathable material option also makes for a very airy choice. As usual with <a href=\"https:\/\/footdistrict.com\/en\/adidas\/\"><strong>adidas runners<\/strong><\/a>, this shoe is ready for both your style and performance needs.<\/p>\n<p>The P.O.D S3.1 is even more proof of adidas&#8217;s dominance in the runners&#8217; category. It feels like every other day brings a new story or report about the decline in sales of basketball shoes and other performance sneakers. A huge part of that is the latest lean towards &#8220;athleisure&#8221; that the folks over at adidas recognized very early.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s certainly reasonable to expect even more heat from the brand in the coming months!
