The Nike Air Max 1-100 and Air Force 1-100 are some emphatic acknowledgments of this. In case you were thinking the superstar rapper’s influence in footwear was limited to the stuff of online hype, here’s a look.

Not long ago, Nike released a special pair of the Air Force 1 that featured interchangeable Swooshes. Initially, the concept seemed a bit overdone and played out. It represented a strange attempt to bring something new to a sneaker that was already well respected. And yet, it was received with largely positive reactions.

The option to switch out the Swoosh branding on a clean White pair of Forces was something everybody could get on board with. Nike jumped right on that and decided to extend it a bit. We are getting another chance to cop this unique Air Force 1. But, the brand is even putting a similar spin on the Air Max 1 as well.

Rather than stick to those extended Swooshes, the AM1 gives wearers the option of customizing both the heel and tongue portions. The accompanying patches on this release include tonal looks and even some iridescence. On the latest Air Force 1, we get much of the same we saw from the Travi$ Scott release.

A gorgeous leather upper takes on a selection of four Swoosh options, including the aforementioned iridescent choice. Both of these pairs featuring in a White leather base makes them elite options for your Summer rotation. The customization angle is doing well enough that it might become a recurring theme with Nike – especially in those clean White iterations.

These bad boys have been available in Japan for a little while now, but you can expect a more global release on July 6th. You can also expect them to sell out fast!

Mission: customize with the Nike Air Max 1-100 and Air Force 1-100 Travi$ Scott is really making some noise in the sneaker industry.
