The Air Jordan 1<\/strong><\/a> might be at the very top of that list. For their latest efforts, Jordan Brand<\/a><\/strong> seems to have been tempted by the abstractness of some luxury sneakers<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Just in case you’re thinking you might be a bit down on this model, you’ll be happy to know that there are some retro qualities here as well.<\/p>\n The build here is mostly in a high-quality leather build, supported by plenty of interesting stitch detailing. The inside panels of the shoe boast a superscript of the classic Nike Air logo, perhaps playing on the feverish hype that comes with any shoe that sports this design detail.<\/p>\n With that being said, perhaps the most interesting detail here is the lacing structure. What we see here is similar to models such as the Footscape, angled and asymmetrical. It also features some extra prominence as the lacing rounds itself all the way to the shoe’s ankle portion.<\/p>\n The addition of the Nike Air in large print is a subtle piece of lowkey design. As most of us know, that branding detail has led almost single-handedly to huge sell outs on certain release days. Most commonly, it’s a hype-worthy element of models such as the Air Jordan 3<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Additionally, the use of colorways such as the “Chicago” scheme and the “Top 3” colorway make some extra appeal.<\/p>\n The shoe will warrant some polarized responses; you’ll either love it or hate it.
