More than just one world record with the NikeLab Zoom Fly<\/h2>\n

The NikeLab<\/a> Zoom Fly SP Rage Green<\/strong> continues Nike’s stylish celebration of an athletic accomplishment.<\/p>\n

Shortly before the shoe’s official debut, Nike attempted to break a historic record, setting their sights on the 2-minute marathon. Their attempts included a painfully close miss, just over 2 hours, set by runner Eliud Kipchoge.<\/p>\n

Though this would fail to meet the monumental goal the brand had in mind, the Breaking2 campaign was a marketing fiesta, inspiring not just runners but innovations in the shoes they wear.<\/p>\n

Bringing together new takes on both the uppers and underfoot builds, the NikeLab Zoom Fly SP is a premier example.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the likes of adidas<\/strong><\/a> and their Boost cushioning tech, the buzz words for running midsoles were “energy return.”<\/p>\n

As such, Nike<\/strong><\/a> made sure to pack on some of its most sophisticated tech on this model.<\/p>\n

Tech meets style the best way<\/h3>\n

Notably, we don’t see the use of any new Zoom iteration or VaporMax<\/strong><\/a> set-ups. Instead, Nike goes with a largely understated carbon-infused nylon plate, joined by the impact protection and responsiveness of a classic Lunarlon foam layer.<\/p>\n

As it turns out, the midsole’s outer caging is much more boisterous in its expression.<\/p>\n

This thick chunk of the design encases the cushioning set-up and gives off the look of a robust build. The upper comes in a stretch-woven design, making this an elite option for runners in terms of featherweight construction.<\/p>\n

Because this is one of the brand’s racing models, it also sports a sharp and streamlined shape, executed beautifully here in a White and Rage Green combo.<\/p>\n

Thanks to its involvement in Nike’s work with Off-White, the Nike Zoom Fly SP has become a hotly pursued style item. It consequently makes a ton of sense to see more colorways debut.<\/p>\n
