It’s one of the brand’s better choices for habits. Another habit the Swoosh is picking up involves working with atmos on special AM Day drops. To put it mildly, we are absolutely in favor of this.

For the last three years, Nike’s collaborative efforts with the Japanese brand has resulted in some of the most awe-inspiring iterations out there. Frankly, the Air Max 1 owes a lot of its wider appeal to atmos’s memorable work. This latest pack of releases, the Nike x atmos ‘Animal Pack 2.0’ isn’t slowing down on that front.

Nike x atmos drops are no strangers to boisterous looks. The releases include some imaginative use of animal prints, including the retro banger from 2017 that featured elephant print graphics.

Nike x atmos: As good as it ever was

Here, we see a continuation on that front via two iconic Air Max models. The Air Max 1 takes on a wild combination that might put last year’s iteration to shame.

The design mind behind atmos, Koji, hits us hard with the prints, throwing on sections of tiger, leopard, and zebra. We even get some premium pony hair on the shoe’s toe-box.

The Air Max 95 sees a similar graphic build, this time making great use of the shoe’s unique design. The wavy look on the lateral panels each gets a section of animal print, accompanied by the aforementioned pony hair section.

Most of the stylings between the AM 1 and 95 are essentially the same here, with some subtle variation. Though each comes with Red Swoosh branding, the Air Max 95 in this pack sports accents of Green via the laces and tongue logo.

atmos is one yearly Nike tradition we’d love to see continue. The use of several different animal prints is a visual feast. If you’re above and beyond even the aesthetics, the premium touch of pony hair should keep you interested.

The Air Max 1 does show a certain versatility when it comes to colorways, but this is on another level. When you throw this sort of wild and boisterous looks on a model like that, the volume is turned all the way up.

It goes even further for the Air Max 95, a shoe that needs no help expressing itself. Once again, Koji and the folks over at Atmos come out with a banger. Keep your eyes open for these as Air Max celebrations draw nearer!

The Nike atmos “Animal” Pack will be available at our Nike online store through raffle and in store through our slot machine raffle.

Wild things: Nike atmos “Animal” Pack Nike’s Air Max Day celebrations are a treat for sneakerheads everywhere.
