Air Max 98 now with Denim feel<\/h2>\n

It’s been a wonderful last few months for the Nike Air Max 98<\/strong>. On the long list of hyped oldies, this model has been getting the revival treatment that fans have been waiting for.<\/p>\n

Just short of a full run of general releases, the special releases under the brand’s belt have given us plenty to save for. Leading up to March’s Air Max<\/strong><\/a> celebrations, this is great news for everybody. One can safely expect some special colorways to continue making debuts, one of which is this interesting Air Max 98 QS in a dark Denim look<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The all-over scheme here seems to be a dark layering based on denim. Nike’s QS<\/strong><\/a> or premium models are no strangers to this sort of iteration, having opted for it on several of their Air Models and beyond.<\/p>\n

But, for its part, this version of the Air Max 98 does present some nuance. For one, the upper sports three different interpretations of the material. It’s gradient scheme throughout works nicely with variation and it’s nice to see Nike<\/a><\/strong> taking advantage of that. This scheme is accompanied by hints of Diffused Blue (via the laces) and a Team Red hue on the Swoosh and accompanying branding.<\/p>\n

This is more of a Winter-friendly look, seemingly dressed in a warmer material than most AM 98 drops. The dark, nearly tonal look is really simple to coordinate with and packs some wonderful subtlety that only the careful eye would pick up on while you walk in them.<\/p>\n

Nike’s decision to give the Air Max 98 more run is definitely a welcome one as it’s arguably the most underrated part of the legendary line of runners. With other classic looks like the “Thunder Blue” iteration coming back to us as well, it’s an exciting time to be an Air Max 98 fan.<\/p>\n
