Two of the most well known brands to come out of California get together for an impressive collection of all-terrain gear. The result is an intriguing mix of both skateboard style and cold-resistant substance.<\/p>\n<p>For your footwear needs, we see a focus on the iconic <a href=\"https:\/\/footdistrict.com\/en\/sneakers\/f\/b\/vans\/zm\/vans-sk8-hi\/\"><strong>Sk8-Hi<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/footdistrict.com\/en\/sneakers\/f\/b\/vans\/zm\/vans-old-skool\/\"><strong>Old Skool models<\/strong><\/a>. Normally unassuming silhouettes, we see each take on the signature protective touches of The North Face. The uppers are constructed from a weather-resistant coating of premium leather. An additional helping of synthetic material adds on to the protective profile. This is in stark contrast with the canvas style build of both shoes. We also see each model finished with some The North face branding on the heel.<\/p>\n<p>As far as clothing goes, the central garment in this collection is the Torrey MTE jacket. Usually fitted in a 100% polyester build, <a href=\"https:\/\/footdistrict.com\/en\/the-north-face\/\"><strong>The North Face<\/strong><\/a> revamps this model for the cold. The polyester exterior is still there, but is now joined by a quilted interior. More importantly, the warmth profile is amplified by synthetic ThermoBallTM insulation.<\/p>\n<p>The theme for this collection comes together smoothly, bringing together the carefree <a href=\"https:\/\/footdistrict.com\/en\/vans\/\"><strong>Vans<\/strong><\/a> aesthetic under the protective designs of The North Face. For those of us missing the Summer months, the footwear in this release helps you hold on to the warmer days while actually staying warm too. The choice of collaborating with The North Face is an intelligent one for Vans. There is some considerate design work done by both sides, but TNF\u2019s expertise is in visually minimal additions.
