And, frankly, why not? Dipped in leather goodness and a classic color scheme, it was a sure fire hit. But&#8230;we faced the inevitable problem with a hyped Air Jordan retro release: it didn\u2019t quite live up to the original.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Though you\u2019re going to get people responding in much the same way to the upcoming \u201cRoyal\u201d pair, it\u2019s still a release worthy of your time. It\u2019s been four years since we saw this iteration return. If you\u2019re reading this (and are, in fact, not a purchasing bot) you very likely missed out back in 2013. Constructed in the same way as the BRED retro, this edition includes the smooth tumbled leather upper and untouched details such as the White midsole and branding.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-19138 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.footdistrict.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/magefan\/Air-Jordan-1-Royal_1.jpg\" alt=\"Air-Jordan-1-Royal_1\" width=\"512\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It&#8217;s interesting to see how past Jordan 1 Royals have evolved through the years.
