Innovation<\/strong> is a key aspect in a field as competitive as the sneaker scene<\/strong>. Brands compete to be the best in step cushioning, breathability, fitting to the foot, etcetera.<\/p>\n

Intending to place themselves at the top to technology<\/strong> applied to retro-running<\/strong>, Nike<\/strong><\/a> surprised us a few days ago with a very special reissue of their most classic model: The Nike Air Max 1<\/a> Ultra Moire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With the classic lines of the Air Max<\/a> 1<\/strong> as a reference, brand new materials<\/strong> have been used in the manufacture of the upper and midsole, inspired by the Nike Zoom Moire<\/strong> released in 2008.<\/p>\n

The upper is completely seamless thanks to the three heat-fused layers<\/strong>, which we came to know as Hyperfuse technology<\/a>. Thanks to this technology, the resulting material is more durable<\/strong> than synthetic leather.<\/p>\n

Another worthy feature of the upper of the Nike Air Max<\/a> 1 Ultra Moire<\/strong> are the perforations<\/strong> along the whole surface, small circular holes that make the sneaker completely breathable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t only the upper that was treated with a restyling. The midsole<\/strong> has been joined to the sole in one only part, conforming what Nike<\/strong> has called Ultrasole Unit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

One detail that has remained unchanged from the Air Max 1<\/strong> is the visible air chamber<\/strong>, which helps with impact absorption<\/strong> with each step.<\/p>\n

Nike introduces several colourways<\/strong> I review below, we begin with our men\u2019s models:<\/p>\n

The first Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Moire come in Challege Red<\/strong> and Summit White<\/strong>, after the original colourway<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The second colourway perfectly blends black and white<\/a>,<\/strong> with a flawless result.<\/p>\n

Thirdly, two shades of blue covers both the upper and the midsole of these Ultra Moire<\/strong>. These two blues are Midnight Navy<\/strong> and Obsidian<\/strong> blue.<\/p>\n
