NIKE<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/h1>\n

Today we are going to talk about Nike<\/strong>. This brand from the USA<\/strong> is currently considered to be the most active on investigating<\/strong> new technologies<\/strong> to incorporate them to their sneakers<\/strong>. More precisely, we will talk about the AIR Technology<\/strong> and the Lunarlon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

AIR TECHNOLOGY<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The AIR<\/a> technology<\/strong> is based on a capsule<\/strong> filled with pressurized<\/strong> air, extremely resistant<\/strong> and flexible, that is usually found under the heel, though it can also be located<\/strong> along the entire sole<\/strong> of the sneaker. This capsule, called Air Sole<\/strong>, is compressed during each step, thus reducing<\/strong> the impact<\/strong> against the ground, and automatically<\/strong> recovers its original shape when the foot is lifted.<\/p>\n

As to the advantages<\/strong> this technology has to offer, the main one is weight reduction<\/strong>, thanks to the substitution of common materials in the structure of the sole for air. This allows for higher agility and effort reduction, not only for the practice<\/strong> of sports<\/strong> bud also for our everyday tasks with an increased comfort<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Secondly, another aspect to highlight is that, as was already mentioned before, the cushioning provides protection<\/strong> for both joints and muscles or tendons of the wearer.<\/p>\n

Finally, and more related to sports, the AIR technology<\/strong> is very versatile<\/strong>. \u00a0The air chamber can be filled with a customized pressure, adjusting its features so that the athlete gets the best performance he can according to his or her physical attributes.<\/p>\n

LUNARLON<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

We continue with another technology<\/strong> used by Nike to manufacture their soles. In this particular case we talk about the Lunarlon cushioning<\/strong>, based on the incorporation of a high density<\/strong> foam core<\/strong> (designed by NASA<\/strong>) injected in the sole of the sneaker. What is the point of this? The main benefit this material offers is that it provides a softer cushioning<\/strong> on each step. This happens because the weight of the wearer’s body<\/strong> is evenly distributed<\/strong> on the entire sole, and not only on critical areas of the foot.<\/p>\n

Second, another benefit<\/strong> provided by both the Lunarlon Technology<\/strong> and the AIR technology<\/strong> is their great reaction<\/strong>.
