Andre Agassi, the player most closely associated with the Tech Challenge line<\/a>, never actually had a Nike shoe with his name on it. This was common practice at Nike<\/strong>, which designed shoes for players but used nicknames and game references instead of their names: John McEnroe (Mac Attack<\/a>), Pete Sampras (Oscillate, Repete), or Michael Stich (Slice).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The original Tech Challenge 2 had two versions with small aesthetic differences, both featuring graphics by Tom Andrich: a gradient effect in some colorways and a pixelated design in others.<\/p>\n\n\n

Pink is strongly associated with the Tech Challenge line.
