With Air, you can run more miles while avoiding injuries and increasing comfort. Air Max came almost a decade later and did the same thing, with functionality as the main benefit. Air Max meant taking air&#8217;s cushioning capabilities to the max. The <a href=\"https:\/\/footdistrict.com\/en\/sneakers\/f\/b\/nike\/zf\/nike-air-max\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Air Max units<\/a>, which were lighter and more resistant to change than regular foams, offered a practical advantage. The solution was simple: <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.footdistrict.com\/en\/air-max-more-than-just-air\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">you only had to try an Air Max to notice<\/a>, above all, its comfort. From the very beginning, Nike wanted to take advantage of the Air Max in other activities.
