The Salomon XT-6’s evolution from outdoor to urban environments is reinterpreted by FOOTDISTRICT in the opposite direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salomon has transitioned from natural landscapes to asphalt jungles while maintaining its character. Nature is typically the patient victim of changes brought about by the arrival of man. In contrast, the city simply exists. The life that comes from nature must change, adapt to new contexts, new materials and new colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the new editorial for the Salomon XT-6, we chose the opposite approach, incorporating city-related colours, textures, and materials in an exercise of architecture as a natural creation. The Salomon XT-6’s path carries its spirit, which intervenes in the creation of man; natural elements go through various processes before becoming part of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Salomon XT-6 recognises change as a necessary part of the evolutionary process. Since its inception in 2013 as a model for ultra-distance runners, it has undergone transformations, including versions more rooted in its history with mountain-related materials and technologies, as well as evolutions that change its style, such as traditional lacing (Salomon XT-6 Expanse) or recycled materials (Salomon XT-6 Mindfull 3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steel, concrete, and glass are materials found in urban environments that, with the help of FOOTDISTRICT, shape new landscapes and create a dialogue between urban areas and the natural environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
