Casa Antill\u00f3n is a creative collective formed in 2019 by Marta Ochoa<\/strong>, Ismael L\u00f3pez<\/strong>, Emmanuel \u00c1lvarez<\/strong>, and Yosi Negr\u00edn<\/strong>. Four creators brought this project to life by combining their passions, applying their architectural knowledge, and deforming them in order to explore diverse cultural territories related to artistic expression. Recognizing its roots in the field of architecture, Casa Antill\u00f3n concentrates on designing spaces using architectural principles, but it also engages in art, design, and nearly any other kind of communication.<\/p>\n\n\n

The university was the birthplace of the collective, which started out as a curatorial endeavor and developed out of the various artistic passions of Casa Antill\u00f3n’s members. Casa Antill\u00f3n learned new techniques that they have been using to their creations from their processes, which have always been collaborative and participative. In their inaugural gathering as a group, they convened thirty up-and-coming artists within the constrained area of Ismael Santos’s 70 square meters, who happens to be one of the exhibition curators. Piso Piloto was an attempt to respond to traditional exhibition spaces through spatial condensation. Because the pieces were transient, they interacted with one another to produce a busy and dense atmosphere. Social media was their primary means of communication, and following the success of their initial initiative, these platforms not only reflected but also actively participated in their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Piso Piloto’s participatory creation evolved into Solo Show<\/strong>, a second wager for the curation of up-and-coming talent that took the opposite route; each exhibitor was presented as a separate component of the room.<\/p>\n\n\n

His curatorial work, artistic residencies, and other spaces demonstrate the continuous evolution of artistic, architectural, and design processes toward a participatory approach. Action, engagement, transformation, and playfulness are prominent themes in his proposals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reason that has brought Casa Antill\u00f3n and FOOTDISTRICT together for the impending release of the Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined”<\/a> is their unique character and capacity to foster a sense of community around creation. Their “Follie” is a playable object that modifies playground equipment, skateboarding, and basketball components. It serves as a call to action and fosters a sense of community.<\/p>\n\n\n
