It may seem strange that a brand that specialises in dressing people would choose to dress automobiles, but this is nothing new. Designers have attempted to incorporate elements that distinguish their products ever since the beginning of the automotive industry.<\/strong> Sometimes by attracting other brands. A collaboration is the simplest way, but there are other occasions when fashion brands have appeared on cars<\/strong> and their stories go much further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carhartt Automobile Corporation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n

In 1910, Carhartt <\/strong>had already established itself as a seasoned manufacturer of workwear, particularly for railroad workers. But Hamilton Carhartt, the brand’s founder, decided to try his hand at car manufacturing as well and set up the Carhartt Automobile Corporation.<\/strong> In just two years, Carhartt <\/a>produced several mid-range models before disappearing for good. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Barqueta adidas<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le\u00f3n de Cos Borbolla put Puma <\/a>and adidas <\/a>in check in Spain<\/strong> with a simple gesture: registering both names in the Spanish trademark register. For some time only he could use Puma and adidas trademarks. And he linked it with another of his passions, motor racing. Some of his rally cars, such as the so-called adidas Barqueta<\/strong>, bore the trademarks he once registered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Land Rover Defender Paul Smith<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
